I have a passion to share what I’ve learned with women, just like me, during my journey to getting healthy and fit, physically, mentally, and spiritually, so that they have a chance to finally get healthy and fit too. My first love (after my family of course) is drinking coffee and watching sunsets.
One thing about living in Florida, we don’t want to be dressed in big and bulky clothes. You won’t survive in this heat and sunshine. We all want to just sit out on our patios and watch the Florida sunset as we’re sipping on a cup of coffee, or wine.
Sounds like heaven, right?
For 20+ years I have been searching for the perfect healthy lifestyle for me and it’s still a work in progress, but I’m enjoying the lifestyle i’m currently on. I will mostly blog about life experiences and my health and fitness journey.
I completed a 5 Day challenge that had cheat sheets, daily to do tasks, and major accountability involved. The trainers went live everyday to give us information on what we should eat and why. I lost 9 lbs during this challenge and wow, it was such a huge eye opener for me on some things. my blog to find out what I’ve learned and how and/or what I’m doing.
I’ve struggled with depression and anxiety for many years and learning how to manage it has been one of my hardest struggles these past few years. I’ll share tips on managing both and how to keep your Faith in the process.
I’ve compiled a list of my favorite recipes and it’s growing all the time. Recipes such as; breads, drinks, desserts, etc. have become a staple in my household. Just because you’re on a health journey doesn’t mean you can’t still enjoy the good stuff. It’s just knowing what the better choices are and choosing those. These recipes are gluten-free, low-carb, and sugar-free. I know what you’re thinking, ewww! Before you turn up your nose and move on, just try one or two of them. Especially the brownies, yummy! Just saying!!!
What can I say here? I could write a book about who I am and the successes I’ve had as well as all of my failures in my life. However, I won’t bore you with all of that, not right now anyway. I’ll leave that for the future. For now I’ll just stick to how I started my new lifestyle and why.
